History repeats itself....

For all the adi odhai and sandais which swathi got from her akka….the time has come for her to give back. So now it’s the reverse phase….It is Swathi doing all the adi….odhai and sandais and Smruthi crying now….sorry…not crying…only screaming…(only I can make her cry u c.)

Swathi plays silently with whatever she is interested which is mostly plates…spoons…paper..etc….but the moment her sister enters the scene carrying something….. be it her school bag….or toys…or rubber band…or clip….or even her dress….this little female wants ONLY that and nothing else….huh!! And wants to grab it from her…aana ava summa irupaala…..iva thangai-na ava akaa illaya???? So she doesn’t give hers. Immediately starts all the screaming….beating…pushing…and obviously crying…..but even now…it is only Swathi who is crying and not Smruthi…So akka still has the superiority in that area. The point to be noted here is that Swathi cries only if I or anybody else is looking at her….else she carries on her with her screaming.

If Smruthi is not around…she wants the things which we are holding… and she expresses her wants by ofcourse screaming…Today when I was taking the karandi to cook (yes ladies….i cook…when my cook is on leave)…she wants that karandi….screams…..my husband takes his watch and purse before leaving for office…screams.….i go to the bathroom with ---------…again screams….endi unakku vevasthaye illaya???

Yesterday Smruthi returned from a marriage reception with her paati carrying a bag full of pop-corn…The moment I open the door…she gets excited and narrates her full evening episode to me and the pop-corn bag lay forgotten for 5 mins….only 5 mins….after the narration…she turns to her bag to show me the pop-corn….but there was no need for it. All the pop-corn already lay on the floor. Courtesy – Swathi…..That’s all. BAM!!! Before I could stop her..Swathi lay with her back on the floor and yelling. Since I’m used to all this by now…I take Swathi and console her…and guess what happened…this little kid went and PINCHED Smruthi…that too deliberately….I couldn’t believe my eyes…she is only 10 months old….ONLY 10 MONTHS and she has learned to attack back….

All this time I was advising Smruthi not to beat her sister….and now I don’t have an answer when she asks me…”Ippo ava mattum enna killalaama????” Guess from now on..the adi…odhai and sandais…will be from both sides and more frequent…

And consequently all my residual patience will soon be gone with the wind….Amen!!!!!!
